Basics

Ordained a Jesuit priest in 1953, Drinan has been a strong advocate of human rights as dean of Boston College Law School, 1956-70; Congressman from Massachusetts, 1971-80; professor at Georgetown Law Center since 1981, & regular columnist for the National Catholic Reporter.
